My work investigates the interplay between identity, memory, and environment through a mixed-media practice that transforms the personal into the universal. By reclaiming discarded materials such as torn street posters, faded signs, and urban debris, I construct layered narratives that capture the tension between decay and renewal. These materials, imbued with histories and stories, allow me to explore themes of transformation and preservation. My process reflects a journey of self-discovery, as I use remnants of the world to reconstruct and reinterpret both my personal history and shared cultural experiences.

Through intuitive experimentation, I engage in a dialogue between the past and present, weaving together overlapping moments of time. Each piece invites viewers to reimagine what is often overlooked, highlighting the beauty found in imperfection and the forgotten. The aesthetic of my work draws deeply from the industrial grit of my upbringing, where I first encountered the potential of discarded objects to be reborn as something meaningful. Growing up in a body shop, surrounded by tools, rusted car parts, and the hum of machinery, I learned to see value in what others might discard. This sensibility extends to the urban landscapes I traverse, which serve as both inspiration and collaborator, their layered surfaces mirroring the complexity of identity itself.
Central to my practice is an engagement with resilience and impermanence. The materials I work with carry the weight of time—weathered, torn, and crumbling—and yet, they endure, offering themselves as vessels for new stories. This mirrors the fragmented and evolving nature of identity, which is shaped as much by loss and change as by growth and renewal. My art transforms these ideas into tangible forms, creating works that resonate with complexity, beauty, and the endless possibilities of reinvention.
